I cold download IE 5.1.7, but again, thats 14MB. An hour and 20 minutes for me.

Do you have a friend with broadband and a CD burner, zip drive, etc? Or access to a school or public library with high speed internet access?

Brings back memories, back in the day when my town's library only had one internet computer and I'd bring a stack of floppies and spend my 30 or if I was lucky 60 minutes downloading shareware on their 14.4k modem to take home.

Wasn't that long ago, but after having cable for a few years and getting used to 300-400K/s downloads that 2-3K/s stuff seems like the stone age.
