Hi James

No didn't touch the video card, as it says right on the mommyboard that it's
the fastest (66) and the others are 33 and I read that's the default slot
anyway. I moved the usb card to another slot and did CUDA and now's it's
fine. But every once in awhile i'll get that pattern on the monitor. CUDA
seems to fix it. I googled that until I was blue in the face, and the only
thing that came vaguely near it was a grounding problem on an Xbox monitor
or something. Oh well.

Happy now tho. Love OSX but am wild about the speed on 9.2.2 with the Sonnet
800 mhz, so when I go to OSX it seems so sllooooowwwwww. But I'm slowly
getting the hang of it and googling the apps I need to have in X.

Wondering if anyone here has the install disk for the UMAX scanner? I loved
that dorky little VistaScan and can't find it anywhere! Would really
appreciate it if one of you could burn me a copy of it. I have the UMAX S-6E
scanner and love it.

An efriend of mine sold me vuescan but i like vistascan better.
