(Blush) I deleted textedit!! I moved it from the dock(?) onto the desktop, then thought it was a shortcut.
I have a 10.1 upgrade disk (from OS9)
Can I use that to restore textedit?
If there is another place more fitting to inquire or find this info, point me to it.
TIA (Thanks In Advance)
Running 10.3.8 and 9.2.1 on Powerbook G4 @ 400 MHz
G'day again
If you hold down the Command key while dragging any dock alias to the desktop, the alias stays in the dock, but the original is moved to the desktop.
From there you can move it to the trash and trash it.
Perhaps your command key is sticking down???
Do you want me to email you a compressed textedit?
