Slooowly making my transition from PCI Macs to G3/G4's and OS 9 --> OS X.
With that said what's with the two CUDA buttons on the B/W logic board? I know only one is CUDA. What is the other button for and which one is the real CUDA? Today, I accidentally disconnected the ADB cord for the keyboard and mouse while the computer was on. Then, having no way to shut down, I pulled the power cord. When I tried to start again hitting the power on key did nothing -- dead in the water. Then I got really adventurous. With the computer still plugged in, I opened the case and hit what looked liked a CUDA button (the one nearest the RAM slots). The B/W rebooted and now all is well. It could be my long time experience with Mac's or more likely "dumb luck" but it worked. And yes, I forgot about the restart button on the front of the case. A much safer and recommended way to restart. So what is that mysterious button and what is its purpose? Anyone know?
