Hey, there must be some kind of b&w flu going around. I've got issues too. Alright. So my b&w300 rev 2 has a Global village internal modem that I installed and had it working. I put on a g4/500 mhz zif from sonnet, put on a 10g drive and installed 9.2. Put on new firmware to take care of the g4 block (before I put in the g4 zif). Viola, it fired up no problems...Installed the global village software for the modem, just as I had done with the original hard drive.... No Modem Detected. I followed the trouble shooting instructions, shutting off extensions, but the program packaged with the modem(zterm 0.9) still does not detect the modem. Anyone had this problem and been able to rectify this modem? Or is it fried? I called the support number for global village, but I got Zoom instead. The tech said that GV stopped supporting that modem after 9.0.4.... and that the 5 year warranty was expired.
