Hello G-listers:
I need an Airport card for my G3 (CRT) iMac/500. Discontinued but still pricey. eBayed already. My daughter has one in her G4 Sawtooth tower.
Ding! (a lightbulb moment).
Now why don't I put hers in my iMac, and get her a generic PCI wireless card
and save. Is this a dumb idea? Is Apple's Airport Card that much better than the
generic (new) PCI cards advertised everywhere for much less?
