I have a very nice 17" LCD Sony Monitor that I paid a bit less than $500 for
through MacZone, it works with my G4 tower no adapter needed and I am very
happy and extremely satisfied with it.
I am not sure what a 19" Sony would cost, but I would check the price on a
19" Sony or get a 17" Sony instead, I do know that 17" in a LCD is like
having a 19" CRT and I am very happy with the size that I have now.
