Are you sure that this is the way it will go? Surely the key issue with the Mac v Windows, or Linux v Windows or any-other-os v Windows is purely the fact that it is not Windows. Can I nip down an buy the latest PC game to run on the machine, can I pick up this cheap CD that no serious computer user would touch because it is so old and run it on my machine? Admittedly the Mac has the key advantage of being able to run a native version of MS Office in these arguments, but it still isn't Windows whatever processor is on the motherboard (or damned irritating sticker is on the case quoting 'Intel Inside' - bing, bing, bing, bong - that annoying jingle that tells me Intel have angled yet another customer into advertising for them irritates the whatsits out of me!). > Hehe :) Anyway, point being that a lot of people will choose Mac OS > over Windows, especially if Apple adopts a decent advertising campaign > like those switch commercials. I suspect that those that are savvy enough to consider that there is an alternative may well be more tempted with a closer price gap. At the same time Apple has climbed onto the Intel clock speed escalator where they'll have to keep changing their system specs slightly to make sure they're matching the Windows PC market as there will then be a direct comparison hardware wise. -- Paul Tansom | Aptanet Ltd. | http://www.aptanet.com/ -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
