"has an incredible amount of streams" is the wrong way of looking at it. Neither app, iTunes or Audion, "comes with" a large number of streams. In fact, they come with none. They just know how to search for them.
My other reply describes how to add streams to iTunes. It's essentially the same procedure for Audion.
Check out sites like Shoutcast (preferred) and Live365 (pay - boo hiss), for individual searchable station listings.
