Dan - I totally agree with you but.....HDD is not large enough to install X w/out umpteen hours of install/restart procedures w/ xpostofacto & all that mess - just had a new problem. Tried D/L WMP 7 for MAC 9.X and after install when I double-click the icon - the bloody system makes funky sounds then goes into stupid mode - so is it sonnet G4 or is it Beige issues - thought I was making a good decision by getting away from PC/MS but there seems to be too much manual ka ka and I'm regretting every minute - now! Thanks anyway and totally agree with you....but how am I gonna play windows media files without IE/ MS products!!!!
