That's one consideration: the 66MHz bus.  The Blue and White has a 100Mhz
bus.  Whatever upgrade you put in will get choked by that relatively slow
bus.  Of course, it's up to you to decide if that's an acceptable
limitation.  There are other limitations, too (see below).

Before you spend money, you may want to take a look at this article:

Consider this: with the B&W, you're getting a bus that's nearly twice as
fast, as well as built-in USB and firewire.  The kicker is that it will
prolly cost more...but you should be able to get better performance from it.

The beige *will* prolly be cheaper, short-term.  I'm just not convinced you
can squeeze, say, two more years out of it like I'm hoping/planning to do
with my B&W.  

Even if that beige you're looking at seems like an "unbeatable deal," never
be in any hurry to part with your money.  I've found (the hard way) that
there is always a better deal around the corner.
