from my understanding, yes, you need the 28V (well, i suppose you actually only need 24v). Anyway, last I checked RadioShack didnt carry a 24v wallwart and the place I found that did wanted about $90 for it. If using a Gig ethernet, my best advice is to use a gig ethernet power supply.
