it might be some bad ram.
or a bad IDE cable
its not your two drives Ie would rather have 9.2 on one drive X on
the other drive.

G'Maccers,
I have a doozy of a problem. G4/733 with two HD's,
one for
10.3.9, one for 9.2.2 only 384 mgs ram. IT "has" been working, but
now it
goes into a kernel panic if booted from a cold start. The panic is
remedied
by shutting down, pulling the power cord, pulling the p-ram battery,
re-inserting the p-ram battery, re-plugging the power cord and
booting. I
have run the Hardware Test disk, I have run the File System
Continuity
Check, I have run Disk First Aid on both drives, I have Repaired
Permissions
on t he X drive, I have run Disk Warrior over both drives twice. I
thought
all was well, but I was asked to shut it down and do a cold start
just
before I left, and the problem was just as before all the
maintenance. Any
light?
