I installed the Combined 10.2.6 Update this afternoon, and so far, it hasn't blanked out (knock on wood). I will see how it reacts to Disk Permission Verification later on; hopefully, it won't freeze again (didn't freeze during disk optimization after the updates I did after upgrading to 10.2.6, as it did with 10.2.8). -Adam
