I don't know what kind of remote it is, but it sure looks to have music-playing functions, like shuttle, that I wouldn't expect on a TV remote, even one made for a Mac released in 1993. Wonder if you have a home-built or a hoax/spoof? Any indication inside that it really is an Apple product?
