Well, specifically, installing ProTools 6.9.2 wasn't 100% successful; the bootup script complained about a DigiIO funnel lock. AND as long as ProTools was present (along with its add-ons) on the disk, GarageBand refused to start up, it would lock up the machine. As soon as ProTools was uninstalled, GarageBand started working again.
It actually might be easier just to take the M-Box/ProTools package back over to my Windoze box and leave Tiger on the Mini.
