Firefox is the way to go as far as browsers go in OS X.
I find that sometimes when I am using firefox to download with, I will not get the whole download and it will "complete". In the download manager it will say done. But I will only have say 500k of a 3 meg file. I fire up Safari and get the whole thing no problem. Other than this little problem I love Firefox. It may be my imagination but it seems faster than anything else on my Mac mini. Some websites look slightly better also.
As to pop-ups. I seem to get more pop-unders than pop-ups, using either firefox or safari. Is the only way to totally put an end to them, to disable java script?
