I don't have an OS9 CD at the moment; If I did, I'm not even sure that I could
get the machine to boot from it, after the problems I had getting it to boot
the OS X install disc. The OS9 volume mounts to the desktop in OS X, and I can
even run Classic Mode flawlessly within OS X (in fact, some stuff runs better
within Classic Mode than within native OS9; in fact, my copy of QuarkXPress
refuses to start within native OS9, giving an error that it "cannot find the
network"; within Classic Mode, QuarkXPress starts up like a charm). I ran Disk
Utility on the OS9 boot volume, and it came up with no problems at all.
Needless to say, I remain quite confused on the matter.
