I haven't seen any problems with eBay and Firefox... pages loading in just a few seconds. I am on a broadband connection in the SF area, if that might make a big difference.
Because my G3 cannot connect at the moment for some reason, I'm using a 6116 (it's a G3!) OS8.6, IE5.1.5. External GV 56K V90 modem. It loads eBay pages just fine. Not PayPal, though!
