Upgrading from my old Apple II to my 1st Mac
Centris 650 - Pandoras Box
I still use this in my classroom using a Sonnet's 601 card; it still
runs OS 8 very stable and can use Office 98
Powerbook 150 - Iliad
still in use running OS 7.6 and Word 5.1
UMAX J700 - Hal 9000 until it received a second hard drive when it
became Sal 9000
still in use running OS 9.1 (and may upgrade it so it can run 10.2.8)
G4 733 Quicksilver - Andromeda with hard drives Rommie, Doyle and the
OS 9.2.2 partitions is Eureka Maru. Hanger Bay is for a harddrive
that is due to be removed soon and my memory stick is called
Slipfighter.
When I upgrade to a G5, I'm thinking of calling it Cray Jr.
