As an aside, this is why I ended up going back to a trusty old HP
Laserjet 4M after continuing hassles with two different inkjet
printers.
I got tired of cleaning the inside of cheapie printers that I was
putting through too many duty cycles. When it became time to replace
yet another one, I went with one of the big HP all-in-ones with a
network interface, multiple paper trays and consumer replaceable print
heads. The software could be a little more Mac-like but the hardware
is delightful.
