my question is how simple might it be to improve the performance of a
beige desktop G3, with new chips - cards or whatever, when one really

have an internal modem, the system details don't appear to say that
it's there, but there is a phone socket at the back of the machine.
I can change a plug! I even managed to replace a cable on a plate
warmer. But insides of computers.... not at all sure!
