I have another suggestion if you have problems getting a working
card. I have had very good success with linksys wireless ethernet
adapters. They plug directly into your ethernet port and look like
one of those USB wireless adapters. But since they are ethernet
devices, there are NO DRIVERS REQUIRED. They come in 11g flavor and
are very useful. Speed is great, they are simplicity to set up and
and platform independent. Setup is done using a browser such as
Safari. Work with both OS 9 & OS X because, as I said, no drivers
required. Heck, you could slap one on a Commodore 64 if they had an
ethernet port!
