I will try the link that you suggested. The reason I'm not using the 10 GB drive for the system and apps is because the Beige G3 won't boot from a partition bigger than 8 GB, and since I have the 4 GB drive in there already I would like to use it... and the smallest thing overall seems to be the OS.
