Hey folks. Hopefully somebody can help me here. I know that floppy disks are not officially support under OS X.
I have a Beige G3 that I upgraded into a G4/525Mhz via a ZIF upgrade. I found a driver (PKG) on the web that claims it will add floppy disk support to OS X on these older machines that have the original internal Apple floppy disk drives. I installed it, and there is no change. It does absolutely nothing. I did a web search, and I found a huge number of complaints from users who tried it with the exact same results I am having. Nothing. It comes with zero documentation. Does anybody have any experience with this driver, and is there anything further I need to do to make it work? Is my G4 upgrade causing it not to work for some reason? Thanks. -Nat -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
