No worries.

I booted into OS 9 the other night and ever since the system boots up
faster now.  I can only guess that the system, since it was designed for
OS 9, needed to be told what to use in it's 'native' OS.

If there is one thing I have learned in my years dealing with computers,
there is no spoon.  :-)
