Theres a 266 chip in the DT G3 my boyfriend has. But I'll stickw itht he 233 for now I think. I can't really justify spending any money on it at present (hence wanting to use what I already have). Besides, which I'm in the UK. I've looked at the various prices for the ZIF upgrades for the beige G3s and don't think they're worth the expense tbh. I think I'll just see how things go and get a newer G4 (or maybe G5) based system at a time when I've money to spare for such. I've found some 7000 and 9200 cards on ebay, though I've read reports of incompatibilities with 9200 cards and G3 'beige' systems. Thanks for your help.
