I have a Powermac 6100... same thing basically. You can find adapters for these for around $20 on ebay. Some go from the big one to a 15-pin mac monitor or others go to a HDB-15 VGA connection. The one I have has a bank of DIP switches and a rotary knob for the many settings it has.
The 6100 series is a nice machine. One of the things I noted about it was the high temperature that the CPU runs at. Let it run for 30 mins and touch the heat sink... you'll almost burn yourself. I lodged a small fan from an old Pentium 1 heatsink into the 6100's heatsink and it runs almost room temperature. Also make sure its battery is good... they classically like to go dead after being only a few years old. A dead PRAM battery can often cause the unit to not even boot... no video or happy bing sound or anything. You can find them at any radioshack store.
