Never mind...I got down to actually check the interior of the MT, & sure
enough, the WD was jumpered for master! Sorry about that -- it was working
fine under 8.6 in a 6500 before I put it in the MT, & I just ass-u-me'd
that it was unjumpered when I put it in the MT & reformated! I guess that
only applies to booting from X? It just goes to show, it's not what you
don't know that hurts you, it's what you know that ain't so...(Will
Rogers).
