Here's a good indictment of PayPal. It's from a specimen seashell
dealer in Namibia:
"Paypal is out for me. I had an account with them. It worked
fine until I wanted
to withdraw money from it. They did not allow me to withdraw any money from
this account and treated me like a criminal. And all this because my credit
card was issued in South Africa and I live in Namibia. In the end all payments
from my customers (there were many) were returned to them by Paypal.
What a performance, and my customers were certainly not impressed."
This dealer is well-known and perfectly honest. He has even had a new
species named after him. I have dealt with him on number of
occasions, always with bankdrafts.
