What program did you edit the video in? Apple's iMovie is famous for
getting sound out of synch with video on long movies (1 hour or more);
just visit the iMovie forums on the Apple website and look at all the
archived complaints:
http://discussions.info.apple.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]@.ee6bcd9 .
I got really tired of words getting out of synch with mouths in my own
iMovies. There are a few workarounds, not all of which work or work
consistently, such as extracting the audio from the video, which places
it on a separate audio track so you can deal with it separately (see
those discussion forums for details). It happened to me so often with
iMovie 3 and 4 that I moved up to Final Cut Express, which has given
me no such problems (and by the way all my video projects get dumped
into iDVD 4 for burning to DVD). Final Cut Express 2 cost me $300 last
year, but I considered it well worth the elimination of aggravations
like that, not to mention the amazing increase in creative video
possibilities if you're willing to buckle down and master its
complexities.
BTW you can dump your iMovie clips into Final Cut and re-edit them
there. I have fixed several iMovies that way.

G'day
I've just made a 1 hour DVD of an Africa trip for a friend, but my
carefully timed music gradually lagged behind the clips in the final
burn, until it was about 4 seconds out at the end.
I know I've read somewhere that it's a problem, but can't for the life
of me remember what the answer is.
Can anyone advise me please?

And what, you ask, was the beginning of it all?
And it is this......
Existence that multiplied itself
For sheer delight of being
And plunged with numberless trillions of forms
So that it might
find
itself
