Sorry Mile don't take this personally . . . but there is NO GOOD to hurricanes. If your power is out for a week or more there is no playing with computers. Even if you have a generator and the gas to keep it running there are many more essential things to do. Have you ever had to ride a hurricane out? Fortunately, we don't often get hurricanes here. When we do they mostly Cat 1 or 2 although in 1938 a Cat 3 or 4 killed created a fluke tidal surge of 50 feet or more and killed 600 people. Even a Cat 1 hurricane is horrifying. In 1985 hurricane Gloria knocked out my power for a week and blew the roof off the building next door. When the remnants of Wilma got here as a Nor'easter with heavy rain and ONLY 50 MPH winds Tuesday, it still knocked out my broadband access. My Broadband is still out and I'm using to dial-up to send this message -- not much fun! My sympathies go out to Tim and all millions of other hurricane victims in Florida and the rest of the Gulf Coast. They truly have a hard time ahead.
