Were you the person who responded to my original post?
My symptoms this time were that the Help Viewer Window was blank.
Help Library did not appear in the Library Menu
(no doubt the problem)
I clicked on Mac Help and the window disappeared.
I trashed
the plist files at
<your home dir>/Library/Prefrences/com.apple.help.plist and
com.apple.helpviewer.plist.
Logged out.
Help Window does not appear but for a second.
Restarted:
same results
Then I wrote this e-mail and went back to check again.
This time the Help Viewer window appears blank
I select one of the Help Libraries from the Library Menu
(No Mac Help Library appears)
In this case I selected Apple Scripts Help
and get the Help window.
But, no OSX Help
the plist files at
/com.apple.help.plist and
com.apple.helpviewer.plist.
have been refreshed in my User Library.
All suggestions appreciated.
