FWIW, beiges can use regular pc atx power supply. There is a jumper by the far left (in DT) or bottom (in Minitower) pci slot that says either Mac (setting on desktops) or PS2 (setting on minitowers) put the jumper on the ps2 setting and you can use any pc power supply to power it.

Thank you so much.  :-) But the FIRST move, after putting in the USB
card,  should be to "reinstall" the 9.2.2, and if it's STILL not
recognized, download and install this driver?

If 9.2.2 is already installed, no need to reinstall the whole package. If the card does not show up, just download USB Support 1.4.1 which is only a 700k download from:

Heck, I would do that download on dial up with no second thoughts rather than reinstalling 9.2.2.
