IIRC the G3 has a 150W PS. Thats pretty low. I personally would also
be scared that it may be too weak for the system. However, I have never
actually heard of a Beige G3 malfunctioning due to a lack of power.
But, ATX PSs are drop in replacements, all that needs be done is
changing a jumper on the MoBo. And I doubt a 300W costs more than $30.
Maybe you could find a 250W for $20 to $25. I am using a 350W Antec
in a G4 and its served me very well.
