Subject: [G] OSX Spyware Detector?
Date: Tue, 15 Nov 2005 21:16:17 -0600
Is there any software for OSX that can detect or find out if anyone
has installed a keylogger or other spyware/monitoring software on my
computer? Or is there a better way to detect it or be alerted if its
attempted?
Altho I'm not sure as to your Whys for this, and do think that the
Activity Monitor in your Utilities folder should work fine, do note;
that MacScan for OSX is in free beta and DL via versiontracker.com.
You just might find LittleSnitch there too. HTHs some
And Yup on those "mouse sloppy" client/users, even had one who put
the system folder in the trash, and swore she didn't know how it
got there, lucky she didn't use an Opt.- Empty Trash command too
(tho I seriously doubt it would work), sos I just had to drag it
out of there for her happy face grin.
