Can anyone say that Tiger Mail handles SPAM better than Panther Mail?
Hard to say...I think it's about the same, but then, most of our filtering is done on the mail server; SpamAssasin is a wonderful tool when set up correctly, and Mail always honors the spam labels it puts on mails. Right now I'm only catching a handful of spams getting through a day; without SA, I'd be getting hundreds. (but then I get webmaster and postmaster mail too, and a LOT comes through to those addresses.)
