Thanks for all the suggestions. Here's what I think I want to do:
I have a 40GB Mini. I want an external 7200RPM drive from which to boot for the speed, and I need backup I think it doesn't make sense to get some huge GB drive because then my 40GB drive will not be adequate for back up. So, I guess I'm looking for a 40-80GB drive. ?: What difference does the buffer size make? It looks as if 40GB is fast becoming obsolete and they tend to show 2MB while the 80GB show 8MB.
