I just never had this problem with the DVR-108 (also unsupported in 10.3.9) in the Sawtooth. The Sawtooth had a DVD-ROM when 10.3.9 was installed but the B & W only had a CD-ROM when 10.3.9 was installed so maybe the needed drivers were never installed in the B & W since no DVD drive was present? I'm now using the DVR-110 to back up the B & W data. Then I plan to wipe the drive and install a fresh10.3.9.
