I would say that February probably is a bit optimistic I never buy first versions of anything electronic look at the history of electronics .This is enough, even if it was released, to keep me from even thinking of a purchase of that scale. If your daughter is interested in the slightest in running windows then spend a lot less money and buy a windows machine . I would say since you are looking at the first release of this intel platform on a mac box unless you have money to burn do not even atempt a windows install unless you want to number one void a waranty number two hose the hardware.
