Here's what I predict for Macworld. I have no knowledge to justify any
of these predictions... it's just the fun of it, you know, reading the
tea leaves, sniffing the winds, that sort of thing. Anyone care to
join in the fun?
The Basic:
- iLife 06 announced with PhotoBooth
- iSight to begin shipping with PhotoBooth
The Lemming:
- Intel machines of some kind (iBook & Mac mini)
- iWork 06 ships with spreadsheet
The Long Shot:
- Xcode now builds for Windows too; allows developers to write once and
deploy identical Mac/Windows versions of their software
- iWork 06 spreadsheet is Improv workalike (I had to say it)
- New Mac Mini with Front Row
- New Airport Express-like device adds video support; supports video-
and 7.1-channel-audio streams from DVD Player
The One More Thing:
- Intel machines of some other kind (PowerBook)
