No crossover cable needed, just a normal Cat-5

7300's ethernet port (or connect them both to a hub or switch)....
I do appreciate you taking the trouble. Before I start, do I
absolutely need to go buy a normal cable and not use what I actually
have (namely a lovely red crossover all connected and ready for
action) for your procedure?
I once successfully used this crossover (which is almost brand new)
between a 7600 and a 7300 (blowed if I know now how I achieved it!).
I WANT to use it. I want to use it in preference for now to getting
on buses or searching eBay or driving to stores or making bank
transfers or looking out for the postie... you know. But i will get
the normal one if I have to.
