That last OS 9 holdout has given me a better feeling for David Elmo's
plight. ...
I want to be the very model of a screaming kicking reluctant, dragged
into the 21st century into OS X. I believe I will be enobled by the
process. I don't want to come quietly. I am enraged at having to
learn so many new tricks (frankly, I have better things to learn).
But I am resisting Windowshade for now and even starting to see
(reluctantly of course) some advantages in X.
