said that cool things don't look good to me except

Faulty logic. If goosenecks are not in the set of cool things then
whatever applies to cool things does not necessarily apply to
goosenecks. :-)
Gee! Now hang on a mo! I am still accused of contradiction!
In a mood of acceptance of the idea of coolness, niftyiness,
appealingness, I agree that the set of these things is not empty. But
the gooseneck is not a member. Not in my opinion.
In a sniffy mood about what so many people find cool, I adopt
'opinion is the reality' and the set of cool things then grows
dramatically. I then turn around and say that most cool things don't
look cool to me.
