You can enlarge that picture of the screw assortment in the ad and see
what kind they are. Seems to me that only the first four types of
screws at upper left would be really useful, to me anyway (I don't even
know what some of those in the bottom row are). Maybe there's a better
(read cheaper) machine screw kit available somewhere, with only the
more common types of screws in it for a G4. If anyone knows of a source
of same please let me know.

Does it work now?
If it doesn't, go to Amazon.com's Electronics section where it's
listed as "Assortment of 12 Common Pc Screws".

Hey Tom,
Your url

didn't work for me. For one thing, it was line-wrapped and broken due
to the length (put "<" and ">" around it to keep that from breaking
the link), but even after reconstructing it stil didn't work.
Got another? Or directions to get to the screws you were referring
to?

As I install drives to sleds, sleds to cases, modems, fans, etc. in
my G4 I have to keep scrounging around for those itty bitty screws
that hold everything together, and I'm amazed at how many different
lengths and thread sizes are required. I guess I need to have a
collection of them handy.
I spotted this set of screws at Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006B8CX/ref=ord_cart_shr/104
-7678271-4071923?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance&n=172282
for $22. This kit has 50 each of seven different screw categories,
350 total.
This might be a good buy IF these are the same sort of screws you
commonly find in a G4 and associated hardware.
Opinions on this kit? Anyone know of any other (and possibly
cheaper) sources of common computer screws?
