At first I thought it was an artifact of iTunes as it chirps in other apps like Mail - occurs sporadically for 6 mos. Then I got it at friend's house on her Dell! We're both on Adelphia cable. The sound is a string of chirps lasting several seconds. Send people to take me away, or tell me you're getting it too! Tom
