Postscript is a translated language like html or java and perl rather
than a compiled language like c, Pascal etc - it is translated on the fly by
your web browser assisted by the appropriate plugins/file helpers. May be
that your plugins or browser require updating if the file you're having
problems with is a newer level than they are - and if the file is a pdf or
postscript file.
If the file is a straightforward html file and you are printing to a
postscript printer perhaps your printer drivers need updating as they have
to translate the html to postscript to enable the printing. Alternatively
you can make the html files into pdfs with Acrobat or another pdf creation
tool which shows in the chooser as a printer - but it prints to a file.
