G'day
I seem to recall someone writing with this problem (re-reading it
jogged my memory).
From my help page.....
6. Once Jaguar is installed, you should first open the 'System
Preferences' alias in the dock, select the 'Startup Disk' panel,
and then select Jaguar itself as the startup system. Re-start. If
you don't do this, but instead select a System 9 folder, you may
find yourself re-booting back into Jaguar. At least on some
systems, this step seems necessary to somehow set the correct Pram
burn (tested on a 233 G3, and a 400 iMac). After this, you can set
either Jaguar or 9 as the Startup System.
Somehow, after an install of Jag, Jag itself gets 'locked in' to Pram
as the Startup OS. The answer, as above, from within Jag, is to first
set Jag as the boot system, re-boot, and THEN set 9 as the Boot OS
Hope this is an answer looking for a question.
Regards
Santa
