OK folks. I replaced the PRAM battery with a brand new one from OWC. I also reset the motherboard using that switch over near the PCI card slots. Same symptom.
Boots up and has a picture of a floppy disk with a flashing question mark. After a while I hear a constant Baaaa Deeep tone. Baaaa Deeep. No boot. If I boot to a 9.1 CD I cannot initialize the disk because there is no disk found. I hooked up ANOTHER scsi drive - same problem ( this was the drive I originally replaced for this same symptom. - the replacement drive worked for about a week before the same thing happened. Also - after replacing the PRAM - I am unable to reset the system time. When I boot to the CD there is no Time and Date option in the control panel. Any help anyone can offer would be most appreciated. Leroy aka FunkyG -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
