I would like to install quieter case and heatsink fans in my Dual-533
PowerMac G4 (Digital Audio). What are the models and/or specs of the
stock fans? I know the case fan is 120mm, but what thickness (25mm?).
Also want to know what the airflow is of the stock fans so I can pick
something that puts out nearly as much air. Has anyone else here done
this? What fans did you use and how much quieter was the result?
Lastly, what type of connector do I need on the fans? Most places
seem to offer 3-pin or 4-pin. It looks like the cable on the heatsink
fan has only 2 pins. What to do then?
